A team from the Office of Grants and Research (OGR) led by Prof. Philip Antwi-Agyei, the Director, on Monday May 16, 2022 paid curtesy visit to the Bureau of Integrated Rural Development (BIRD), KNUST. The purpose of the meeting was to familiarize with activities of the Bureau, challenges and way forward. The Director of BIRD, Dr. Ebenezer Owusu-Addo, on behalf of the Bureau, briefed the OGR team on the activities of the Bureau, and after several discussions on the challenges facing the Bureau, Prof. Antwi-Agyei assured that he would table issues discussed with management of the University for possible solutions. Dr. Owusu-Addo expressed gratitude to the OGR team and hopeful that the meeting bears fruitful results.

The team from OGR also included Dr. Nadia Tagoe (Research Manager), Mr. Kwabena Ampong (Accountant) and Mrs. Patricia Amoah Yirenkyi. Also, in attendance were some of the senior members of BIRD including Prof. Paul Sarfo-Mensah, Prof. Sampson Enyin Edusah, Prof. Ernestina Fredua-Antoh, as well as other staff members of the Bureau.
